BUSINESS STANDARD

There are a few guidelines regarding the business look. As long as it is a smart looking suit. The outfit requires a dark colored suit with a shirt and tie including a pair of black shoes and matching dark socks.

BLACK TIE

This means the tuxedo with no tails.  The most attractive and classy look for men is the classic black tuxedo with black bow tie, white dress shirt and cufflinks. Top it off with black socks and black shiny/patent leather shoes. Traditionally, however, visible timepieces are not worn with formal evening dress, because timekeeping is not considered a priority.

WHITE TIE

White Tie is the most formal evening dress code. For men it is unwaveringly specific: a double breasted tailcoat, white vest, white starched shirt and white bow tie.Top it off with black socks and black patent leather shoes. Visible timepieces are not worn with formal evening wear.

TAILCOAT

This daytime formal black jacket is typically worn with pinstriped pants, white shirt, cufflinks, gray, black or white tie and a grey vest with black shoes. In rare cases, some other formal daytime events like lunches with heads of states or weddings may feature men wearing cutaway jackets as well. If you are invited to a formal event before 6 p.m., a cutaway jacket ensemble would be appropriate dress.

INFORMAL

Informal dress for men comprises a suit, which is an ensemble consisting of a pair of trousers, shirt, tie and jacket.

It is more presentable than semi casual and allows personal expression.

CASUAL

Though you can wear almost anything you wish to, but there are some generalizations regarding the kind of clothing you attire. Adjust your clothing according to the occasion. Always go in for smart intelligent dressing.

SMART CASUAL

Smart casual wear refers to being neat and trim, with a bit of dash.  In essence, smart casual means that you dress professionally, but you are relaxed. Cotton trousers are acceptable and mostly combined with a tie. Jackets are not expected.

EVENING WEAR

This attire gives you free choice. You may accessorize your evening wear, but to be on the safe side we recommend choosing a dark suit or tuxedo.

COCKTAIL PARTY

The mode of invitation holds a clue to the kind of party it will be. Look sharp and dress appropriately for the occasion. If you are unsure how formal the event is you can always wear a suit.
